Quality Control
Wood Selection
EXMAM buys only first export quality lumber. Lumber not of lamella quality is redirected to solid wood flooring production. Only S4S blocks completely free of defects are milled to lamellas.
Moisture Control
During the production process, all wood is stored in dry rooms. Pallets of finished product are also stored in dry rooms prior to dispatch. The dry rooms are maintained with dehumidifiers at 6% moisture content.
Milling
Sawing tolerance is measured every ten minutes. Saws are sharpened every 8 hour shift. Production area is maintained with near-clinical cleanliness.
