Species offered include Jatoba, Tigerwood, Cumaru, Tauari, Bloodwood and Ipe. FSC certified products are available in Jatoba, Cumaru, and Bloodwood. Many other lesser-known species are also available, and the company is willing to design special programs for interested customers.
The plant’s production capacity is over one million square feet of sawn lamellas per month.
EXMAM has been in operation for over 30 years, with the past 12 years under U.S. ownership and management. EXMAM is located in the state of Pará, Brazil, near the port of Belém, with rapid access to US destinations.
EXMAM purchases rough-sawn lumber from sawmills in the interior of the state of Pará. All purchases carry official documents proving that the lumber was sawn from legal, sustaninably-harvested logs from government approved forest management projects.
EXMAM is FSC Certified for chain of custody.
